Just Rambling: July 11,2009 was the day that Union Parish, Farmerville, and all of North Louisiana had been waiting for - the official ribbon-cutting for the Farmerville Poultry Facility recently purchased by Foster Farms of Livingston, California. Hundreds of people were on hand for this celebration with the majority of them meeting at the Farmerville Recreation Center and then boarding buses to the Facility for the ribbon cutting.
