Just Rambling:
Happy New Year from our family to yours. Thank you for a great 2017! We look forward to another year publishing our Ag Trader USA magazine. Not only do we publish our magazine but our magazine is also on our webpage—agtraderusa.com, and we are now on Facebook—Ag Trader USA. Our daughter, Velvet Bennett Roberts, normally has a daily posting on our Facebook page. Please follow us on Facebook, on our webpage and in our magazine. Our subscription rate is still $12.00 per year which can be paid by cash, check or by credit card through our PayPal account. We continue to offer our classified ads for free when you pay the $12.00 yearly subscription rate. These classified ads will be in our magazine as well as on our web page. When we started Ag Trader USA in February of 2007 our goal was to provide agricultural and educational information to the agricultural community along with an outlet to sell or buy land, equipment, livestock, etc. through our classified ad section. We feel we have accomplished our goal during these past years but we hope to improve upon it during the coming years. Since our inception we have added a “Spiritual Corner” which is written by our daughter, Dana Bennett Alexander. We have received so many compliments on Dana’s Spiritual Corner writings which we are very thankful for. Our photography is also handled by our daughter, Velvet Bennett Roberts and our tee shirts sold at the Ag Expo are designed and printed by our daughter, Brittany Bennett Canterberry. Ag Trader USA is truly a family operation but it could not exist without our advertisers. We now have over forty advertisers per month, many of which have been with us since our beginning and we appreciate them so very much. This month will be a busy month for the Ag Trader USA team. Our daughters, Velvet and Brittany will be attending the American Farm Bureau Convention in Nashville, Tenn., the first ever, from Union Parish, to attend. On January 19th and 20th Velvet, Brittany, Dana , Donnette and I will have our Ag Trader USA booth at the Annual Ag Expo located in the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe, La. If you have never attended the Ag Expo it is well worth the visit. Adults and children love the exhibits, demonstrations and they even have a petting zoo for the children. Look for the highlights of these events in next month’s magazine as well as on our webpage and Facebook. If you are at the Ag Expo, please come by our booth to see us. We thank each of you for supporting Ag Trader USA. Van Bennett
