Horse Trivia Oldest equine to ever live was Flower, a registered donkey born in 1941 and died in 2012 at 71. She lived most of her life in Colorado and worked the mines during the Colorado gold rush. Oldest horse on record is Old Billy a draft cross bred. Foaled in 1760, he died in 1822 at 62. He lived in Woolston, Britain.
