Chocolate Chip Cookies by Joanna Gaines 21/2 C flour 1/2 t sea salt 1 heaping t baking soda 1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature 2 C packed light brown sugar 2 large eggs 11/2 t pure vanilla 11/2 C semisweet chocolate chips These are the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had.
Preheat the oven to 350° Whisk the flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl beat the butter and sugar on med-high until fluffy. Add the eggs, beat. Add vanilla and beat until blended. Add the flour mixture, mix on med until flour is mixed in, then turn the mixer to high for a few seconds, the dough will be chunky. Add the chocolate chips, beat on high for 5 seconds. Drop by large spoonful's on a lined baking sheet, don’t flatten. Bake until lightly browned on top—10 to 11 minutes. You can add more chocolate chips if you like.
