Just Rambling January 2019

Just Rambling January 2019: We at, Ag Trader USA, would like to wish everyone a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year. We would like to thank our advertisers and our subscribers for continuing to support our magazine. We appreciate your support very much and we look forward to the coming year which will be our thirteenth year of publication. Through our publication we try to present information on all types of agriculture and to promote God’s word through our Spiritual Corner and scriptures to live by. Also with a $12 subscription payment an individual not only gets the monthly magazine plus has the opportunity to submit three classified ads per month to sell agriculture products, equipment, livestock and real estate. Our magazine is put on our web page each month after our print publication is mailed out and anyone desiring to subscribe can do so by mailing a check or by using a credit card to pay on our Pay pal account. Ag Trader USA is on Face book but very little posting has been done since my daughter, Velvet, passed away on October 30, 2018. We hope to get more postings in the near future. We have received so many nice compliments and notes from subscribers since our inception and we would like to extend a Big Thank You for the kind words. In this issue of Ag Trader USA, four of my children are writing a tribute to their sister, Velvet Bennett Roberts. Avery, daughter #3, is not writing one because she is rather busy now. She and her husband, Jerome Wilson had their first child on December 21st. It is a little boy and his name is Hudson Shiloh Wilson. My daughter, Velvet, chose the name Shiloh which means “sent for God”. For many years, Avery and Jerome didn’t think they wanted children– well, you should see them now. They are so proud of their little son and he is such a handsome boy. His Paw is pretty proud of him, too. Hudson Shiloh is a blessing from God to our family. Also, in this issue we are recognizing the Cattle Producer of the Year for both Claiborne Parish and Union Parish. Please find these articles on pages 6 &7. Ag Trader USA would like to congratulate the winners of this award. We would also like to congratulate the winners of the Louisiana State Fair Hay contest. About the front page: This photo taken by my daughter, Velvet, of one of the Beach cows looking through a feeder bought from Anthony Brown—see ad on page 11 and in the classified section. We call these cows Beach cows because my wife uses the proceeds from these cows to carry everyone to the beach each year.
January Scripture To Live By: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, NKJV 13—But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14—For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15—For this we say to you by the word of the Lord that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16—For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17—Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18—Therefore comfort one another with these words.
