Just Rambling January 2020:

Just Rambling: How often do you think about what a great nation we live in? Do you ever watch the news and see what mass chaos there is at times in other nations. We haven’t seen much of this in our nation in the past but it seems to be more prevalent with radical ideas and groups throughout our nation especially in larger cities. Just last week I saw a banner shown on the news which said, “Abolish all Police”. How stupid can one person or a group of people be unless they are looking to gain criminally, if all police are gone. I also heard two democrat candidates being ask questions about the police. Instead of upholding and supporting the police they basically dogged the question with no support of the police. You also see a lot of governors and mayors throughout our nation that don’t support our police force in this nation. I say “Shame on Them”. Our Law Enforcement personnel throughout this nation help keep our nation great and us safe. Our President Donald Trump definitely supports our Law Enforcement personnel and I am not being political, I am stating facts. If you have watched the news any during the past year you are aware of our Law Enforcement personnel being disrespected and in many instances they have been attacked. These attacks have led to the death of several Law Enforcement Officials in our nation. This is shameful! Sure there have been some Law Enforcement personnel that have gone astray in carrying out their duties but these are few and far between. The vast majority of our Law Enforcement personnel are out there everyday and night protecting our neighborhoods, our cities, our states, and our nation. Have you ever thought about being a Law Enforcement Official whether it be in a sheriff’s department, a city police department, a state trooper or other forms of law enforcement? Do you think you could handle it? Could you handle the disrespect, the verbal abuse, the threat of violence against you? Would you have the patience or the temperament to deal with the criminal element in our society? Are you a quick thinker? Can you make a split second decision and that decision always be right? Do you have the courage to stop a vehicle at night or during the day then walk up to that vehicle not knowing what you may be faced with? These are questions I ask myself when I think about our Law Enforcement Officials. As I think about these questions and others I realize what a difficult job our Law Enforcement personnel have and how thankful I am to the men and women who keep our neighborhoods, our cities, our state, and our nation safe. Without these brave men and women our nation would be in a state of tyranny. When you see a person involved in Law Enforcement please be sure to say Thank You for keeping us safe.
