Just Rambling:
Recently I saw an interview on the Tucker Carlson show which is aired on Fox News. The interview was with a young woman, who apparently is affiliated with a university that is promoting the idea that the word “man” should be eliminated from our vocabulary. She informed Tucker Carlson that “man” was offensive. She did not want to use any word that had “man” in it such as mankind, mailman, and even woman. She wanted to be called a person rather than a woman. How ridiculous can you get is my question? When God created the earth and everything in it he created man and then woman. Genesis 2:7 And God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living being. In Genesis 2:22-23 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” God created man and woman as stated in the above scriptures –who are we to question God. Based on this young woman’s thinking God should have called man a “He Person” and woman a “She Person” so as not to offend anyone. Of course this young woman is not the only one on this “man offensive band wagon.” I heard the Prime Minister of Canada doing an interview session last week and he was asked a question buy a young lady that used the term “mankind.” He immediately corrected her to use “person kind” rather than mankind. Again I say, how ridiculous can you get? I recently attended a conference where a Navy Seal spoke to our group about leadership and teamwork. He stated that to be a good leader you first had to let go of your ego and take on humility. In our world today, it appears that many in academia and politics are on ego trips to change our young people thereby changing our nation and most of the changes they desire are contrary to God’s will. In 2 Timothy 3:1 Paul tells us, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.” Are we in those times? I don’t know but we are definitely being challenged in America by Satan and his followers who would have our nation turn from God. “Without God there is no virtue because there is no prompting of the conscience—without God democracy will not and cannot long endure.” Ronald Reagan
