LOCAL VOLUNTEER RECOGNIZED DURING NORTHEAST LOUISIANA DISTRICT LIVESTOCK SHOW” During the recent Northeast Louisiana District Livestock Show, Mr. Johnny Guice of Point was recognized for his volunteer efforts and leadership through the 4-H & FFA Livestock Program in Union Parish and Northeast Louisiana. Johnny is a true example of volunteerism and believes in the impact that livestock projects have on the lives of youth. Johnny and his wife Donna can be seen at all of the parish, regional and state livestock exhibitions providing expertise and support (and meals!) for the many youth, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who love and enjoy “goin’ showin’”. The Union Parish office of the LSU AgCenter and the Union Youth Livestock Council applaud Mr. Guice for this accomplishment and well deserved recognition.
